Southside Apartments offer self-catering apartments ideal for exploring the Old Town of Edinburgh. They are just 20 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh city centre, the Royal Mile and are also next to a good bus route.
Apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, lounge and dining areas. Some apartments have original period features such as high ceilings and sash windows.
All Southside Apartments feature free WiFi and plasma TVs. The kitchens have an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. All apartments include towels and linen and a a starter pack provided for your arrival to get you started. This includes soap, washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, toilet rolls and tea, coffee and sugar.
Holyrood Park is just 10 minutes’ walk from Southside Apartments and Edinburgh Castle can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes' walk.

The one bedroom apartment is a lower ground floor apartment located at 11 Newington Road and has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area, shower room and French doors leading from the lounge to an outdoor area. The bedroom has a king bed. If you prefer 2 single beds please request upon booking You do require to go down a staircase on entry to your apartment

The 2 bedroom apartments are located at both 7 & 11 Newington Road, there are 2 apartments in each block accessed by separate main doors on the main street, the apartments are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, no lift. The apartments have a lounge and dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are set up as 1 king room and 1 twin room. However, the beds are zip and link and can be made as single or king beds. Please request your bed preference at time of booking. Apartment sizes and specifications differ

Three-Bedroom Apartment
The 3 bedroom apartments are located at 7 Newington Road. There is a 3 bedroom lower ground apartment and a 3 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor. You will be allocated either one for your stay. The apartments have a lounge, dining area, kitchen and a bathroom. There is also a shower room with a shower and sink. One of the apartment shower rooms also has a toilet. If you would like this apartment please request this upon booking, this is subject to availability. There are 2 king rooms and 1 twin room. Apartment sizes and specifications differ.

This depends if a 3 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment, the 3 bedroom apartment is on the first floor and the 2 bedroom apartment is on the top floor, no lift. Hope this is of help
